Announcing the NGLA Professionals Track 2010:
RESPONSE ABILITY - Level 1 Facilitator Certification
presented by Mike Dilbeck, Creator & Producer of the "Response Ability" Project and CAMPUSPEAK speaker

Most of the problems in the fraternity/sorority community involve bystanders - those who see or know about something "wrong" and do nothing, say nothing. RESPONSE ABILITY, the groundbreaking program on bystander behavior and intervention, gives students the courage to stand up to bad behavior, promote dialogue and work together to create a healthy college climate.

This program is one of the most talked-about, powerful and empowering educational programs currently being used on the college campus. It will be used as the foundation for Friday's educational programming for student conference participants. However, it's real success and effectiveness rests with facilitators who are being trained to lead this program and to generate conversations that will leave students empowered to turn "wrong" or even threatening situations into opportunities for action.

Professionals attending NGLA will have the opportunity to be trained by the program creator, Mike Dilbeck, in this Level 1 Certification Program on Friday, February 19, 2009. Each person who completes the program will be certified to facilitate the program to groups on their campus. In addition, participants will receive an expanded facilitator's guide and certificate.
